Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD) often doesn’t always look like what people expect.
You might be dealing with intrusive thoughts, constant doubt, mental reviewing, or urges to get certainty — even if you’re not doing obvious physical compulsions.
What matters isn’t the content of your fears, but the cycle you’re stuck in:
Intrusive thought, urge, or image → Anxiety → Compulsive Behavior → Temporary Relief → More intrusive thoughts.
If this feels familiar, you’re in the right place.
OCD isn’t “just being anxious” or “overthinking.”
It’s intrusive, unwanted, repetitive thoughts that won’t leave you alone — and the exhausting mental or physical rituals you do to feel less anxious.
You might find yourself:
Mentally reviewing conversations over and over
Checking repeatedly for mistakes, harm, or safety
Chasing certainty about relationships, health, identity, or morality
Feeling stuck in “what if…” spirals
Avoiding triggers or asking for reassurance
Feeling ashamed of thoughts that don’t match your values
This is OCD —
and it’s treatable.
